Installation

Plugin Won't Load

• Ensure Hytale version is compatible.

• Check plugin file is in the correct folder and not corrupted.

• Review server console or word log for errors.

Missing Config

• The config.json generates on first run.

• Ensure server has write permissions.

• Delete the plugin folder to regenerate config if needed.

Crafting & Placement

Crafting

• Requires Tier 2 Workbench.

• Materials: 6 Iron Ingots, 5 Tree Logs, 5 Stone.

Placement

• Needs solid block beneath.

• Drops materials when broken (intentional).

• Can place multiple workbenches.

Using the Workbench

Repairing Items

• Items must be damaged, in inventory, and match config patterns.

• Materials are pulled from inventory or nearby chests automatically.

• Free repairs possible via config.

Common Issues

• Items not showing: check durability, inventory location, and patterns.

• Wrong materials: verify config patterns and IDs.

• Can't repair: ensure required materials are available.

Configuration

• Customize repair costs and materials in config.json.

• Use wildcards (*Wood*) for pattern matching modded items.

• Restart server after changes.

Performance

• Avoid too many nearby chests to reduce lag.

• Keep frequently repaired items near workbench.

Technical Notes

• Black water or line artifacts are Hytale rendering bugs, not caused by the plugin.

• Temporary fixes: rejoin the server or reload chunks.

• Plugin is server-side only and does not affect visuals.

• Report bugs with server/plugin version, steps, and console errors.

• Feature suggestions can be submitted through official channels.

• Use repair kits for field repairs; the workbench is for full restoration at base.
